Legal help in Bondi after terror attack

Lawyers from the Disaster Response Legal Service have been on the ground providing free, face-to-face legal support for those affected by the Bondi terror attack at the Bondi Community Support Hub established by the NSW Government to provide practical advice and support for any impacted community members.

Lawyers have been providing advice and assistance on legal issues such as applications to The Victims Support Scheme, government disaster grants including small business grants, workplace rights, financial hardship, eligibility for other support schemes, insurance claims, wills and estates, superannuation and more.

The community hub is scheduled to be open until 13 February, with opening days as follows:

  • Monday 12 January to Friday 16 January
  • Sunday 18 January
  • Monday 19 January to Friday 23 January
  • Tuesday 27 January to Friday 30 January
  • Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February
  • Sunday 8 February
  • Monday 9 February to Friday 13 February
