We were honoured to have Shane Fitzsimmons, ASFM, Commissioner of Resilience NSW and former Commissioner of the Rural Fire Service as a keynote speakers at the inaugural Legal Aid NSW conference on 4 June 2021.
Commissioner Fitzsimmons shared stories and tips about providing leadership and resilience during a crisis, and later spoke exclusively to the Disaster Response Legal Service about the importance of legal services being imbedded in the recovery efforts following a disaster.
