Last week DRLS solicitors Alex Rumore and Hannah Gray as well as solicitors from the Orange Legal Aid Regional office attended a series of Community Flood Update sessions in Forbes, Parkes and Eugowra.
We partnered with the NSW Reconstruction Authority, Service NSW, and community services including Catholic Care, Salvation Army and Red Cross to provide information and assistance to people who are still recovering from the devastating November 2022 floods across the Central West region.
Hannah and Alex were able to provide legal advice to people who were still in the process of managing their insurance claims lodged after the floods, many of whom had not previously sought legal help with their insurance matters.
