Eugowra awaits insurance payouts that may not come

Ma'ata spoke about the huge spike in demand for legal help following the flood crisis and delays within the insurance process. “We’re still assisting a lot of people from the Lismore floods close to the one year anniversary,” she said. “They aren’t back home or they’re camping out in properties … I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re helping people in the central-west a year from now.”
