If you've been affected by recent floods or storms, you can get free legal help from the Disaster Response Legal Service NSW.
Lawyers from the Disaster Response Legal Service have been working collaboratively with partners in the legal assistance including the Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre, North Coast Tenants Advice Service (NORTAAS), Western Sydney Community Legal Centre and Shoalcoast Community Legal Centre to coordinate a local response to the recent floods and storms that have affected many parts of the state.
We currently have a presence at the following recovery centres, disaster assistance points and pop-up hubs:
- Murwillumbah
- Mullumbimby
- Lismore
- Kyogle
- Casino
- Ballina
- Evans Head
- Maclean
- Grafton
- South Windsor
- Wisemans Ferry
If you need legal help you can locate your closest centre using the Service NSW recovery centre finder, or by calling our disaster hotline on 1800 801 529 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
